    Alex Pollack is originally from Memphis, Tennesee and is starting this fall as an MFA student at The University of Central Florida. In 2007 and 2008 he spent a year teaching English in Bundang, South Korea, and experience he chronicled on his truly excellent blog Gorilla Teacher: Diaries of a Young American in South Korea.
